Added a blue damsel to tank today, he was the last to add wife really wanted a blue fish. She has been very tolerant of my aquarium so I thought what can it hurt besides the hit or miss temperament of this fish he was the last so I said ok. Well needless to say the orchid dottyback took an instant dislike and chased him for a few minutes. Went to dinner and returned to the protective eye cap on the damsels was partially hanging on. Feel bad for the fish and the wife feels horrible. In all my years I have never experienced eye trauma like this. So what should I do. Fish is currently in qt tank and other than the obvious he seems to be fine.
