im selling my trigger.he's to big for my tank.so far he's been a model citizen he doesn't bother inverts or corals but he needs a bigger tank.he has beautiful colors and a very healthy appetite.i would like to 60 for him obo.
how big is he? and he doesn't nip at coral or eat shrimp? I had a trigger that was a model citizen.....unfortunately it jumped one day while I was at work.
I'd like another, but If it were to nip at corals I couldn't guarantee being able to catch it to make it stop.
What kinds of triggers are more likely to be reef safe? I understand that you are taking a bit of a chance with any kind. I know blue throat triggers are sometimes OK, and I've heard of a couple niger triggers that did OK.
no he don't nip at corals or eat shrimp?i was actually pretty shocked when i got home from my weekend trip to miami.my son forgot feed the fish from sat to sun and when i got home monday morning i found shirmp antlers where my cleaner is usually at.but it happens to be my cleaner shrimp was molting over the weekend and i say if he didnt eat the cleaner during that stage and starving for 2 days he should be pretty safe.i just hate to take him to the lfs.
So which triggers are considered more likely to bee reef safe? I hear cross hatch triggers and pink tail triggers (and blue jaw) are more than likely OK. I read that the niger triggers will be destructive because they have to wear down their teeth on something.
sorry....I'm not the most knowledgeable guy when it comes to fish
thx "thor" i got somebody interested on him and she has a 300 gallon tank.it's sad letting him go.but it looks like im not gonna be upgrading my tank anytime soon.
