Feeding Frenzied
Hello all. I am selling the following items, and wanted to post them on here first (and sell them locally) before posting in the general "for sale" forum and/or ebay:
1) New ASM G-1X Skimmer
2) New ADHI Model 30 Sump/Refugium.
Both items were purchased new in April-May 2007 from reefgeek.com (the skimmer) and from championlighting.com (the sump/refugium). Neither item has been used, except that I did "break-in" the skimmer by running it in RO/DI water for a week (to remove the oily film most acrylic skimmers tend to have). I did throw away the boxes though, as both were taking way too much space in my garage.
Here are links to the two items at the respective vendor sites. I will edit this post tonight to post pictures of the actual items, but having never been used they look the same.

The reason I'm selling them is simple: I am currently setting up a 92 gallon corner tank and (stupidly) miscalculated the space I had in the stand. So as it turns out the ADHI sump/refugium doesn't fit in the stand and I can't return the items because I purchased them more than 30 days ago (I purchased them before getting the stand--hence the term "stupidly"). The skimmer fits perfectly in the "skimmer" area of the sump/refugium, but the sump/refugium doesn't fit in the stand.
I love the quality of the ADHI sump/refugium and I am buying the Model 20 sump/refugium to replace the Model 30, except now I have a Model 30 and an ASM skimmer I can not use (the ASM G-1X skimmer doesn't fit in the Model 20 skimmer area).
I paid $384.90 for the ADHI Model 30 sump/refugium and $257.00 for the ASM G-1X Skimmer, not including shipping. I am asking $285 for the ADHI Model 30 sump/refugium and $190 for the ASM G-1X Skimmer, or $450 for both. I think this is a great deal, as again these items have never been used.
Local pick-up and cash/paypal only, please. I am in the Pinecrest area.
