"Fabric" Picture Thread

The Missus moves in this weekend after a year and a half - my closet is already being taken over!

I realize this is late as I was sidelined all weekend with a pulled back, so feel free to disqualify this entry if need be. Figured I'd at least post something. :)

 
Sorry - little late to the dance this week. Been tied up with a 4 legged creature. ;)

Tough topic though - had a hard time thinking of something...I got some ties though

man I thought for sure everyone would be busting out the Macro lenses on this one. Well, I pick the Ties from Joey. I like the different and textures of the fabric, the lines, and the DOF in the image.

Oh, and Jesse what's the story with that car??

I thought about it, then realized Sunday night meant I was running out of time so I quickly improvised. Looking at the winning shot I should have taken all 108 of mine (yup :) ) and gotten creative with them!

Let's go with "glass" as the topic. Stained, blown, windows, binoculars, windshields, glasses - as long as it has glass in it.
 
We should get together sometime. I have some stuff you could borrow to play with for a few months. You would be amazed at the little 50mm Sigma AF I have. Picked it up off ebay for 40 bucks years ago. It would fully function on the D90. It would give you plenty of ideas on something to shoot macro's with.

It's about 3 cars up from my space in a parking garage I park in. It hasn't moved since last year. The guy that owns it takes it out and washes it once a year. Otherwise it just sits there. I had a guy putting in a new fire alarm sysyem last year. He offered the guy a buttload of cash, but the guy wouldn't take it.
 
If that's a legit 94 911 Turbo S - it's a pretty rare car. There's not many of them out there with the 928 style headlights.. :thumbsup:
