fading superman monti? need help

Hello,

I need some help with my superman monti. I'm a relative newb when it comes to sps. The bluish base has become lighter and the red polyps have become more orange and slightly smaller over the last month. I've only had it for 1 month. I currently keep it under 150W MH's, plenty of flow, ca/alk/ph within normal limits, it's about 12 inches from the light.

Any suggestions to bring it back to it's glory? It's not terrible right now, not bleaching, but not as bright as it should be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

only thing i can think of, is not enough light..

what light setup did it come from? 12 inches under only a 150w, isnt much IMO. try raising it higher.

for comparison, i have mine ~8 inches under 250w. and it looks marvelous.

I have one also and i keep my calcium up at 450 and 4 inches below the surface and its doing great. hope this helps
