Wooot!!!!!!! Was at ABC Aquarium fb page and it says that they will be opening the new shop on Monday!!! It also says the old shop is closed 'til then while they move the rest of their stuff...I'm stoked!

Will keep y'all updated as things change on their page.

Stopped by this afternoon, just to look in the windows... Low and behold OPEN sign was lighted up and the doors were open!!! What a great space! LOTS of tanks and only about 1/2 way done! Look up when you get inside. Aleks did a beautiful job painting another mural... This shop is going to be the nutz. The "public" space is going to be a real attraction as well. The idea is long overdue....
Later in the day I had an immediate need for some hardware... G had what I needed X2.

shop looks great. loads of potential. tanks should be filling up over the next few weeks. G and his family have been burning the midnight oil ,and it shows.

They are offically open just not 100% stocked with livestock.....Some of that will be coming in the next few weeks and there is nothing left at the old place except what they have to get out..lol

I just stopped by there today. New shop looks great - can't wait to see everything filled up!
And I'm excited about the possibility of reef club meetings!

Yeah shop looks great, was there yesterday. Will be great as they finish setup and stocking. I like the display room up front, will be nice for gatherings and like a small public aquarium.

I made my first visit to ABC yesterday. They still aren't running 100% but the shop is set up nicely and everyone was very helpful and friendly.

Cruised out and picked up Flame Hawk for wifes office tank today. The display room looks awesome..new couches really cozy it up!

I was going to get another maxi but held off. They DID get a decent sized shipment of corals in..I wish my setups could home sps, cuz there were a few big monti and acro colonies. Dinner plate size!

The place is really looking great. It's obvious they have put so much work into it. I love the smell of fresh paint! I didn't see maxis when I was there Monday . Another good reason to go back though! Last time I picked up some freshwater plants for my son's betta tank.

Anyone on the west side heading out that way I hear they have this new aptaisia stuff thats supposed to be awesome but I am swamped and hard o find two hours to drive there and back. Shoot me a pm if anyone is.

ABC Reefs is in Syracuse and I'm not sure if they have a site...this thread is re: ABC Aquariums in Fairport. I believe their site is under construction, but you can find info if you search the name on Facebook.

was just there yesterday. pretty sure i saw something in a black box. give g a call ,he comes out this way fairly often. he'll try hard to meet up, or make a house call when practical.
