Hope everyone can make it , I'll be hosting the anual fall combined reef club BBQ 2pm, Nov 11 at my place in Nokomis.

I'll be smoking up a big bunch of ribs and maybe a few burgers and dogs and I'll have some drinks. Please bring a dish to share, friends and family are welcome.

2nd wk in Nov is the only time of the year that I actually promise to have all the coraline scraped off my front glass (or at least I'll make a good effort to get it all chiseled off by then), come check out my little coral farm, I have about 3000 gallons of salt water,. am propping around 100 varieties of coral and my 240 show tank in the house is 100% tank raised corals, no wild corals allowed.

I'll get directions out later, hope to see you all Nov 11th, bring your appetite and a side dish or a desert. :)

I'll be there, it's under two miles away :D .

Thank you Brian..................

I will be bringing a huge vat of home made cole slaw like the the last 2 years. Maybe something else too. Steve.

If some one has Anthony Calfo's book Reef Inverts (Zoanthids) could you bring it to the meeting? :)

Anthony just informed me some of my Zoas are in his book but I don't know if its a good pic or an example of how not to let them get out of control and over run everything, he didn't say. This sis all he said:
BTW - I dont know if you knew it... but the image form page 164 of my Reef Inverts book (zoanthids) was from my visit to your place :) I just reused the image for my website and wondered if you knoew that was your zoanthid colony :D

Brian, sorry but Dawn and I will not be able to make it today. We have a family thing that came up this morning. Will miss seeing you all and seeing Brians awesome farm. I know alll the newer folks who have not been to your place will be in awe. And thanks for doing this for us each year. See you soon. Scotty
