false perc too shy starting to worry

I bought a small false perc other day, like 3 days now. He will not come out of the rocks at all. I can only see him at night with lights off and tv on. He sleeps in middle of rocks kinda in open. 18 gal cube with 3 sps and 2 lps and clam. Other stuff dong great plus watchaman goby doing good. Think he will ever come out and swim? Have not seen him eat at all only tried 2 times tho and once was at night.

usually most fish are shy the first few days. Just keep his stress level low and let him do his own exploring.
