The mask or the yellow speckles on the face indicates its a male. The male's body is also more long or "limo" shaped.

The face is blue-green and the males have a speckled yellow face. A swatch of yellow covers the forehead and the caudal fin is also yellow and split with a blue-green band. This is one of the few species of angelfish where the males differ morphologically from the females. In this case, the males have a slightly longer body than females

These fish really are terrific fish. Looks awesome, cool tempered and never bothers any other fish

For those that might be interested:
DD has a "young" male, around 6". Kinda bigger than I like to get my fish, but I find DD's stated length is often a bit bigger than what I measured. Price is a little high, but I bet this fish is near bulletproof.

NYA has a male 7".

NYA also has a 3-4" True personifer. This is the fish to get, a little more rare. Will look awesome when adult. Great size too. Actually I just watched the video and its hard to tell if the black mark has showed
any.

That's an amazing video. Could watch it 100 times! Btw correct me if I'm wrong but I t seems like the mask on the false personifer is more purple and stands out more than the true personifer.

I believe so. The masked on the false personifer has better coloration.
