I have a fan hooked up on my apex under a control typle chiller and for some reason it doesnt shut off at the set temp of 78.0
on temp is 78.1
off temp is 78.0
fallback is off
??

my heater is set for:
on temp 77.9
off temp 78.0

i changed the fan to:
off at 78.1
on at 78.2
and it works so why wont it go off at 78.0

also what should i be setting an outlet to if i just want to monitor the amps...such as my sump return pump...skimmer...sump lights that stay on 24/7, and so on....I want to have everything go through the apex so if there is any power spikes i can setup an alarm

Yes, it shows you on the main screen, but there isn't programming code for AMP. You get to see it, but you cannot use the Apex to monitor it or act on it.

well i can monitor it manually then by just glancing at it daily...so what do u set an outlet to for on all the time?? I know how i can make it work but is there a specific control type that most people use or do you just turn that outlet to "on" under manual control

Use advanced mode and the following:

Fallback ON (or OFF depending on the device you're controlling)
Set ON

That's it.

Also, I should have noted that your AMP reading is recorded in your datalog and can be graphed. You just can't use it in a program like you can a temp probe.
