Thanks! I figured with all these 4k capable phones out there that we'd start seeing a million videos of people's tanks soon. While I enjoy the macro shots of corals, its nice to take a step back every once in awhile and just see the whole tank as it stands.

Thanks, I got a little bored with collecting corals for awhile and turned towards collecting fish for a bit. I'm really happy with the stock I have so far. Just wait until I add the final 8 fish. [emoji4]

Wow, your tank is looking phenomenal!
Great video. Everything is looking healthy and growing.
Very funny goby at the beginning of the vid. He looks like he's either trying to scare you off by doing that rhythmic head bob or trying to act like a piece of seaweed.

Dude is hilarious! He's always up to something. I call that his moral eel impression.

Thanks for the compliment Reefmutt!

Ty, you are a rockstar. Gorgeous, gorgeous. Make me want to take my tank to the next level simply
Thank you sir! Its nice to be able to start seeing your hard work pay off. Just keep at it and before you know it, you'll step back and say... Wow, did I really do that? I got more to go still but its starting to come together the way I want it. [emoji4]
LOL

I would have thought the goby was an eel too had I not seen him swim in there. He looks like he is good entertainment.
He is amazing entertainment in a tank full of fish I thought I would enjoy more than him.

So, lots of small updates that I hadn't gotten a chance to post about.

Got my 3 purple queen anthias from Gig'em, the QT extraordinaire. They are all eating and have been added to the tank.

I also had a wonderful gift from a client that bought me a flame wrasse as a thank you gift. When I went to pick it up, I saw this gorgeous blue star leopard wrasse and picked that up as well.

The exquisite wrasse decided to try to mate with all the purple queens and was banished. He did look amazing when flashing all the brilliant colors though.

The Achilles tang experiment may be over soon. No matter what size UV sterilizer, having as many fish as I do is not going to work with keeping an Achilles as the ich gets worst every day. I caught him out and will treat him for ich for the next person who wants to try to run ich free. The powder blue may be shortly behind but he's handling it better than the Achilles so I'll keep him for now.

Oh, and these guys came out of nowhere as well. [emoji6]

That's a bummer about the achilies. They are one of my favorite fish. Hopefully I'll be able to keep one some day

You can, just make sure it is an entirely ich free system. 76 days fallow and you're set. The hard part is keeping it that way unless you run an entirely separate QT system, which most don't have the ability.

Thanks Cody! That box you see is actually the bottom plumbing for my 110-watt UV sterilizer. I pulled my black background off as it was chipping in places and was going to replace it with a blue gradient backdrop but haven't gotten around to it yet.

So you're seeing some guts of the system. [emoji4]

Beautiful video TY

Do you by chance have a list of fish you have in there?
I know what some of them are, but not sure on most of them.
Im still doing research on what fish I want to add to mine in the future.

Thank Ty, appreciate it.
Now I can look them up so I know what Im looking at lol
I knew some of them were angels and always read they werent reef safe.
I guess there are exceptions to the rules.

No problem sir. I feel like I should expand on each fish as in my SPS-dominant tank, they are reef safe to a certain degree. For a regular mixed tank or softie/LPS tank, some would be terrors and would fit the non-reef safe reputation they have.

Achilles Tang (recently booted) - don't even bother unless you're 100% ich free (meaning 76 days fallow)
Powder Blue Tang (about to get booted) - same as achilles
Exquisite Wrasse (just booted) - great addition to any tank
Blonde Naso Tang - need something large, 200+ gallons at least
Majestic Angel - will eat softies, clams, and some types of LPS more than likely. Will nip acro tips.
Emperor Angel - same as majestic
Flame Angel - will nip sps polyps and super territiorial
Regal Angel - finicky eater and dismal survival rate, will probably eat your softies too and maybe clams/lps
Potter's Angel - picky eater but if you get a good eater... Pretty solid
Midas Blenny - great for any tank, sometimes territorial
Oscelleris Clownfish - great for any tank
Blue Star Leopard Wrasse - poor shippers and terrible acclimation to different time zones but once eating and stable, bullet proof
Flame Wrasse - great addition to any tank but more on the expensive side with wrasses
3x Purple Queen Anthias - I would suggest another type of anthias... Super difficult to get eating... Shy eaters and will get outcompeted for food...
2x Ruby Red Scooter Blenny - cool little guys but main diet is copepods so I'd recommend a bigger tank. Easier to get on prepared foods than say a mandarin though. Reputation for jumping out of tanks.

Thank again TY
You didnt have to, but sure saves me alot of time and great to get first hand knowledge
from someone.
You sure picked some hard ones lol
