Father Passed Away...

Well it finally happened; I received a call this morning at 7 am that my father had passed at 6. Although, we all knew he was in serious shape we still kind of held out hope. Just wanted to let everyone know the long difficult wait is over. He truely is in a "better place".

Thank You Howard! Yes it was a sad but glorious day! Went to J.B. and saw the graves. Remembered my father and his time in W.W. II. My wife took some photo's (she has her own photo busines on the side), and is working on some custom pics for my Mom. I think she will like them a lot! It's funny how Holiday's can be caught in a life moment. I'm remembering my 2 step son's father passed on Valantines day several years ago. It's never been really the same since; least for them. Now I think Memorial Day will be like that for me. Thanks again "everyone" for your thoughts and prayers! It really does mean a lot that you (I) have people that care enough to express it in words and prayers!

I don't know if we've ever met or not. It doesn't make a difference though. I'm terribly sorry for your loss. I'll pray for strength for your family.

I just want to say my heart felt "Thank You" to all the members of this board! I take comfort in your out-pouring of sympathy. The family is doing ok. Mostly we knew this was going to happen; even though he appeared to be doing somewhat better. My wife did warn that this "getting better thing" happens more times than not; and not to get our hopes up. As usual she was right again. (Why is it she is always right???).

Again; I'm glad to be a part of such an AWESOME group of people!
