Thanks Matthew. Scoly, lol! I see it too, much smaller though. Kinda looks like an acan, but it's a favia.

LOL. I did think Acan, too. But with only the one big polyp & the little dude, Scoly looks are also there.

Amoore311: That is a very nice Goniastrea. Yeah, we decided many moons ago, to allow all the Favids that are very similar to Favia here. One big happy family! LOL
And a piece like yours is one good reason for it!

What gave you the idea to perch the Baby's Breath on that SPS coral branch? Very interesting.

Well, I needed more realestate for these new favia frags. That acro skeleton is rather chunky... the branches are mostly very thick and fused. I figured this way the favias would have a bit more texture and form to them (rather than just a round dome shape). We'll see how things go.... I've done this with encrusting montis before, but never favias.
