Favia Show Off Thread

It is Matthew....same genus as the prism..Goniastrea palauensis....their just calling it the joker favia.. from.... Bay Corals...http://www.baycorals.com/collections/lps/products/favia-ultra

There is a nice "Prism" type Goniastrea at my LFS/LPS. Unfortunately, I am actually considering it..
I like the way the polyps look in these. Are these higher light than Favia? I think I read that in Borneman..

I picked this wild indo colony up from my lfs about a month ago. Its coloring up nicely. The base color is a light purple. The eyes are multicolor... dark purple, then an aqua blue, then red.

That is a really, really nice one Chipie! Very pretty.
As for the post above, the pic isn't showing up on my computer. I hate when that happens!
BTW, I bought the Goniastrea I was talking about, I have it acclimating to tank light levels right now. I couldn't resist!

Its just a green one, but its very symetrical. Looks like a greeen Wasp's nest!
I fed it last night, when I saw it had its tentacles out & mouths open.

@SPSpirate I think Cherry Corals has/had pieces of that favia, I believe they called it Bloody Moon Favia.

Looks like a Baby's Breath, somewhat. Not totally, seems to be only two pastel shades there that I can see in the pic.
