those are nice! did you go to the store to get them?

Yes, I hand-picked 5 different coral at Vivid A. and had them shipped back home. I grew up in Burbank and visit family a few times a year. The 1st one is their Prism and the 2nd is an Alien Moon.

Sheol, Are you a DFWMAS member?

Mark

Great pieces everyone!

In person this will be LE someday, comes from a local wholesaler (work at a LFS). I like PB&J (reminds me of my childhood) and it should be seen in person. Tan, green and purple, three combo's that make this thing pop compared to everything else I have....big eater as you can see.

rynon, that looks to have mucho potential, reminds me of some of the stuff JenDub has gotten in lately, they have gotton in some off the hook favia's, really beautiful stuff, just wished I had the coin to buy everything I want :(

look at some of this crazy stuff, I don't want to turn this into a selling forum (Sorry Mods) but I am blown away by all these new favia's..this is a favia lovers dream come true!

Thanks Jendub! I like the swirling of colors near the rim. Kev, Sponge Bob does have large polyps as far as favias go, and they get puffy as they open up. One of the polyps on the frag I have is almost an inch across open.

cool, is this a coral you discovered my friend?

No, wish I discovered it! Grabbed a frag last month while in Orlando from Victor and Lou at WWC. I am waiting for them to open up the Caribbean trade and I will go grab some future LEs right out back. LOL! One of these days I will have a coral named for me, like "Roblack Shmack!" or something like that. Gotta have dreams.

This coral has changed since I got it, it now has a yellow center near the mouth. I did not edit this photo, but the sparkles throw things off a bit IMO. Guess what it is????

Good :). I posted pictures of this earlier in the thread but it has changed since then. It's a "pink eye favia" from A&M Aquatics, but for all I know it is a baby's breath.

Yes, we budded into seperate Favia colonies! LOL

MBZ: No, not yet anyway. I probably need to join. OK, scratch that. I NEED to join ASAP.

Nice as always, Reefmonger.

Sincerely,
Matthew

Sheol, just so you know, the Dallas Coral Farmers Market is going to take place on November 1st. I'm going to assume you won't miss that one, since you love corals so much. And one or two weeks later (TBD), DFWMAS has their bi-annual frag swap. Again, another chance to score some new corals. I'll be at both, hopefully.
