Danger Will Robinson! Danger!
No new pics, thread loses to Chalice thread(s) & dies. The war of immortals! "There can be ONLY One!!" LOL
Seriously, why the slump after those gorgeous pics? Have we finally topped them all?

Alicia,

That is a spectacular BB Favia you have there. The colors are amazing. The BB Favia that I recently received from you - did it come from the amazing colony pictured above?

If so, I gotta do a water change to see the amazing colors in person!

Gary

Yep, defiantely came from this same colony. I found that the colors really started popping when it hit 15-20 heads...then it has gone crazy from there. It seems to like it's spot in the tank :D.

WOW I've been outta loop for a few months but always check in now and again, I gotta say there are some killer pieces being circulated! I might have to rethink the whole chalice addiction thing :)

Kev,

I told ya so! There are some serious pieces of killer eye candy here. Maybe that is why I am having a root canal tomorrow. Well, not really. But unfortunately, I am, so no new corals. Bummer..
I really love that one that looks like its tri-colored in Richard's last reply. NIIIICCCEEEE!

I just got this guy on Wednesday. My first Favia.

Your favia addiction begins with your first colony. Then you get a second one and soon thereafter, a third. Before you know it, you are sellin' your other corals to generate cash and to make room in your tank for more favia. You start selling your blood to the local bloodbank so you can get that next favia fix.

And then you see a Baby's Breath Favia in person that is so beautiful it makes you cry and you know that you've just got to have it. Be careful, it happened to me.

Yeah, its a hard road to trod, but ohh so sweet.

G

Yeah, that is a beauty Chris, where did you find it?
I deny any addiction gas4544! After all, I still have a little blood left & a few other corals. Still, a Baby's breath, worth a soul perhaps?
LOL

Jay:

Yeah, its a Favites or even a Goniastrea, but they are a part of the thread as well. Very nice, too...!

Matthew
PS.

Son Nhon: Very nice piece as well, is it actually that yellow? Yellow w Red centers would be a very nice Favia indeed!

Grabbed this one at my LFS last weekend:

I've had this one for over a year. It started as half a head that someone gave me. I have no idea what it is. It did very well for a few months, but has remained this size (despite good parameters and regular feeding). I'm going to try mounting it onto a small piece of LR to give it some space to encrust.

Ben: Not sure of the species, but there have been other pics of it on this thread in the past. Like the contrast on ths one.
