I have a Favia speciosa (at least I think thats what it is) about 3 weeks ago it looked like very healthy or at least comparing it to others I have seen, however today I noticed that portions of it seem to be disappearing or being eaten.

I took this pic today and it looks like the skunk cleaner is eating the dead part, could he be eating it while it's alive and killing it?

besides this I have 2 false plecs and 3 red leg hermits

Perameters are:
Nitrite -0
Nitrate - 0
Amonina - 0
PH - 8.2
Salteny - 1.0215

Your salinity is too low for one, so raise that up to 1.025-1.026 or so, how much light do you have over it? Are the mouths gaping at all? Mine has receded slightly from a heater burn and too much light but they are pretty hardy. What's your alk and calcium readings?

The low salinty is most likely becuase I have been topping off with R/O water and I had to add quite a bit yesterday becuase of a heat spell, I will re-check after I do a water change.

I have 2 X 65 watt CF over a 20 gal tank

I need to buy those test kits...........
