Brokaw San Jose, close to Fry's.

where exactly is it?
I drive by this area everyday for years and never noticed any fish store, just a bunch of body shops and tile stores.

thanks

I was lucky enough to get a small frag of this type of Favia at the second last BAR swap! It's doing pretty well and has started to spread onto the rock it was mounted too. One of my favorite corals due to the texture and colour.

I have not been to this place, but I think this is the address:

1721 H Rogers Ave San Jose, ca 95112

Someone told me that this is a same owner who run Sun Aquarium in Milpitas.

Thats a pretty cool favia, I was wondering can you mix different favia's together?? And where do you guys place favias?? I notice that got some crazy sweepers.

thanks for the info. I should have thought of looking it up in the yellow pages. I'll check it out tomorrow.

Sun Aquarium (in Cropley San Jose, not in Milpitas, used to be called Blue Ocean I think) I have been to. Sun, Moon, there could be a connection.

Blue Ocean location use to be Sun Aquarium. Blue Ocean has new owner, not the same guy who own's Moon Aquatic.

Anyways, that is the correct address, sorry I couldn't get it right away. New shipments comes in Thursday and Sunday night. The best time to come by is the day after. This store got some regular buyers that usually take most (if not all) of it, so if you snooze you loose. I'm usually there on Friday and Monday after 3pm.

I haven't tried mixing them but, I put my favia on mid and low.

I went there last week.
The owner of moon aquatics is the same person as the owner of sun aquarium, which got sold to new blue ocean owners.
the store's been open for 3 months only, and I can see how regular buyers can buy all the stock, because there are only a few pieces (at least when I visited), but all pieces are large though, like the ones in the pictures.

business card shows website as www.moonaquatic.com
but it is not operational (perhaps he just registered the domain name). I think owner should at least put up an address and phone number on the home page.

I think they are fixing their website. I bought brand new helios actinic bulb from him for 5.00.. t5 48"
