under what kind of lights is everybody keeping their favites pentagona?
i recently got a frag of the tyree purple war coral, and it was pretty beaten up when i got it (for a couple of days, it looked like a rock with some purple coralline on it, and some flesh tissue stretched over it). now, over the last three or 4 weeks it made a great recovery, and i can actually see that it has multiple polys, and feeding tentacles come out of most at night.
i have it sitting on the bottom of my 24g aquapod, under a 150W 14000K phoenix bulb.
it is starting to look as if one of the polyps might be bleaching (getting lighter than the others, but not white)
i'm not sure if i should start moving it up, towards a brighter spot, or keep it in a low light or even shaded area.
or... if it's just starting to adjust to my tank, and trying to figure out what shade it wants to get
sorry, no picture for now, i'll try to snap one tonight when i'm home.
