I've used all kinds but never paid attention to which brands I liked. Gonna do a big frag job so thought I'd get some opinions. Share away please.

I think most saltwater LFS carry it, at least those in my city and any of the online dealers where I buy stuff.

I like Tunze coral gum, doesn't reek like other epoxies, sets super fast and is actually still kinda pliable when cured, I used to use TLF brand but its seemed it had a hard time really adhering to a wet rock, pretty much always had to use super glue gel too.

The Tunze epoxy is worth the price IMO.

JB water weld.

Can be had at most any hardware store and is way cheaper then any of the specialized coral epoxies. I've used quite a few sticks of it in my own tanks.

I use the TLF pink colored epoxy & I agree with this. Unless there is a hole to mush it into, it wants to detach - especially a heavy piece working against gravity. But it's fine if used in conjunction with super glue gel. It's expensive for what it is. The big advantage for me is the color which looks natural to me in my tank.

The Tunze stuff sounds interesting. Does it make your skimmer go crazy for a few days after using it like the other brands?

Coral gum looks more like coralline when it cures compared to TLF IMO. I would show you some pics but have not added a coral in a long time and everything is all grown over it.

Nope, I never really had a problem with my skimmer going nuts when using TLF though either, granted I skim pretty dry and usually was only securing one coral at a time so always used very little.
