Very conventional but for me it's the Yellow Tang....colourful, active, reef safe, hardy if you look after it....it's the perfect fish!

Didn't vote because I have several favorite fish. Conspicuous , Bandit, Quoyi parrot, and Achilles tang to name the top 4

Copperband butterfly for me. Never had one cause my tank is too small. Setting up larger tank now and cant wait to get one in there!!!

I always wonder if I answer this question the same way each time. At least this time it's 'favourite' (my preferred spelling) rather than 'favorite' :) This time I went with 'Anthias', which 14% of the people actually agree with me on

I voted for clowns. I always dream when I can get my first saltwater tank which will almost certainly be in a couple decades sadly. My parents won't let me get one until I'm done school (still in grade 8 ) and have my own house.

When I do I'll get like a 200 gallon tank and get all the fish I've fell in love with over the years.

Ocellaris clown
Regal blue tang
Yellow tang
Royal gramma
Moorish idol
Flame angel
Green chromis
6 line wrasse
Emperor angel
Orange spotted prawn goby
Copperband butterfly
Neon goby
Blue damsel
Yellow clown goby

OMG I see why my parents don't want me getting a saltwater tank yet lol.

Mine would be wrasses for sure. They are very active, colorful and serve a purpose in a reef tank. Gotta love when a fish can be a show piece and free your tank of pests.

Next up would be tangs. Again they are active, colorful and help keep algae at bay.

I have 3 wrasses; 2 flashers and halichoeres and can spend all day watching them. They're always on the go doing something.

The one I just bought Conspicuous Angel. 2nd a Golden Angel and 3rd underrated in my book a black cap basslet

I'm still in 7th grade :lolspin: My Parents let me have fish tanks, But only complain about the mess. Well I have 2 weeks of staring at my computer and my fishtank. Your parent don't want you to have one because of the bills and amount of time spent on it. Lots of money, but IMO worth it!

I have 2 freshwater tanks and i love them, but it just sucks not having a saltwater tank. I would be FINE if I had like a 20 gallon saltwater tank. 2 clowns, a damsel, and a little goby. That would make me happy.
