One of my two Atlantic feather dusters disappeared. I noticed two days ago that it had dug itself deeper into the sand bed by a rock formation -- just about the crown was out. Yesterday, it was completely gone.
I felt around the sand bed nearby and couldn't find it. The other feather duster is doing well.
Do they do this on occasion? Will it come back out? Or has it died/retreated to die?
