Hi guys, I've had my maxima clam for about 2 months, I see little new growth here and there n he seem to be doing great. However when I got him, I noticed this growth on its side. Looks like a baby father duster. They both seem to be growing well together and it doesn't seem to bother the clam although they both babies. Please can anyone ID this guy, is he a feather duster or an aiptesia or something else. Should I be worried, should I let them be, is it a friend or a foe?

definitely a feather duster, but I would remove it. I have seen them irritate zoanthids, so I would guess it would irritate the clam.

Thanks guys....I think it's a feather duster. I'll leave it on for now since it doesn't seem to be bothering the clam, besides they both look cute together.
