Feather Duster Question

Hey Everyone,

My heater malfuctioned while I was away and to say the least my duster lost its crown. So now I'm wondering how long does it take for a Hawaiian feather duster to re-grow back their crown? Also, how can you tell if the worm is dead or alive during this growth process?

The crown will grow fairly quickly , a 1/4 inch every week or two!
He will come out to feed even with the small crown. If you are concerned about it being dead you can softly and lightly squeeze the tube you can usually feel him move.
