Feb 16th reef meet

Ok as promised I will do a reef meet, get together on the Feb. 16th starting around noon and going till its done. I have been dealing with flat worms for a while and may still have some, so frags are at your own risk and dipping is highly recommended.

We have not had ameet since July, so we will try and see who is still hanging in there and hopefully meet some new faces. As usual I will cut frags of most of my corals upon request, for a small fee.

Anyone having stuff to sell or trade feel free to post what you have and prices I am always looking for cool new stuff even if I cant find the room to put them in the tank.

New faces are welcome, and snacks will be provided.

Thanks sounds fun I'll be there I'm not sure how to upload a picture but the only thing I can bring frags of is pink and golds. Does anyone else have anything that Jorge may not have they would swap or sell?

by the way several people have asked about the elegance coral and if I would frag it.

well a couple weeks ago i picked it up and checked the skeleton it has branched out into at least 8 seperate heads and each head is a fairly large elegance 7-9 inches when expanded. I will be willing to cut as it should be pretty easy and safe. I am thinking about $45 a coral so keep it in mind.

Hey Folks,

I bought a small set up last weekend that had some LPS. I don't keep LPS so if anyone is interested let me know ahead of time and I'll bring them to the meet:

* Duncan 4 big heads - $20
* Frogspawn (gold and violet) 5-6 heads - $20
* Torch (neon green) 1-2 heads - $10 - I have two of these
* Plate coral (neon green) ~3" diameter - $20

Saving up for lights, so not really interested in trades right now. If I'm off base on the pricing make an offer

Thanks to all who showed and to those who helped with the addiction. Turnout was a little smaller than usual but not bad, and I enjoyed the company of good folks. Great to see some new faces. We managed to remove a monster fire worm from the tank as well.

Special thanks to Mike and Killis who ended up staying late and volunteered to help me tackle the 90 cube and remove the rose bubble from the bolder it was on. We were victorious in our effort and the beast is now in the Aquapod. I could have not done it alone and I had been wanting it out.

Sorry I did not get to spend more time chatting but I ended up sleeveless and in the tanks for most of the meet. Hope all the frags that went out thrive in their new homes.
