February Meeting

well I will let someone else plan the discussion. Im not good with that lol maybe placement or somethign there was a lot of intrest in the forum on that?
 
Yeah, seems like everyone is busy... I'll be there though and thats all that counts :) Shoot, I can even dress up like granny again if that'll attract more people lol

Not sure about a topic. We can discuss where to place corals, but the responses I got were pretty much "put them where they work best". I was wanting a head start as to where to start. "start on the bottom and go up" was what was suggested.

If the attendence is really low, after Travis discusses his tank(s) we could each discuss our tanks. JAT
 
Is interest in the club dropping? Or ,maybe, it is just interest in going to meetings is dropping.

Are there too many things happening on Saturdays?

Should we think about another time - maybe Friday nights?

Do we need to say if only 5 people can/want to come the host should not have to go to all the trouble?

It is hard for Travis to say "Well just never mind." Cause it would seem like Matt, Dana and I don't count. But, I could certainly see how he, probably I, would want to say "How about next month?"
 
Eddie its ok I really dont care. I hope Interest isnt dropping. For the clubs sake. I do know about 2 or 3 people saying they might not join up next time I do hope they change there mind. Maybe life is to busy for the hobby. I know I have a passion for it and will never give it up. Believe me i have tried lol. But i am going to have the meeting even if it was me and you Eddie. Plus my house is little anyway lol. We will have maybe 5 6 people. James said he might come by so. But i would never say never mind cause i do love and enjoy this hobby. I have since i was 8 when i got my first saltwater tank and been going since i was 15 so.the economy is down maybe that is what is wrong. but i have went to other fourms of clubs and they still show a lot if intrest in the meetings. we all need to sit down and see where the club stands. and stop changeing the by laws to benifet other people what was made should stand is like in the govermnet if they break rules who pays? We do. By i am having the meeting anyway no matter what. Just wanted to let everyone know. plus i have started cooking lol and getting ready lol if you need to call me for direction you can 865-318-5698
 
Hey, folks, I tried three different map searches and did not get the same directions that I got from Travis. I suggest calling Travis to get directions. Or you could ride with me and we both can get lost together. I think the directions Travis gave me will be easy to follow. BUT, I will manage to get lost if I follow my usual pattern.

I usually do (have fun) when I get lost -- might as well, right?
 
Oh, no, I am going to try it with the directions that you gave me. I do not know how many times I have gotten lost going to Dana's. I still makes me laugh. Maybe, not out loud, but...

I will call once I get lost. Who knows, maybe I will not. :spin1:

I looked for a smiley that was holding your breath. Could not find one. Seems like I have seen one, but can not remember where. :confused:
 
Lol, dana's house is EASY to get to! Thats the one that we got the least lost getting to. What time is the meeting starting? As for the whole losing interest, I would love to come to all the meetings but just can't having to drive all the way from Morristown. Plus I just stay busy haha.
