Feeding Anemone

Hey guys I was trying to feed my anemone today, first time ever. I was feeding it frozen misis shrimp which I let thaw in the water first...then when I put it on the anemone it would grab it, but before it could even eat, the stupid clowns came and ate it all. any suggestions? however i did see it eat a small piece of shrimp, looked pretty cool.

Get something bigger that the clowns have a hard time moving. Large silversides or Krill would work.

I used to super charge regular food market shrimp with Cyclopeeze. My anemones LOVED it.

Feed the fish first or put a basket over the anemone until it finish eatting. Anemone should be able to eat much bigger food (like the size of the clown fish. Clownfish would not usually bother with these large food unless they are very hungry.

As minh said, full clowns don't steal food.
