Feeding habit of H. malu

I got two H. malu, one green which I got for about 18 months and a purple for about 12 months. both in the same tank.
These anemone seem not to like chunky food like shrimp or fish that are larger than 1 cubic cm. They always catch and eat fish food very quickly expecially mysis and flakes.
I am interested in other reefer's experience in feeding these anemones. Thanks.
BTW, they are both growing and looking much better than when I first got them. I am not feeding them too much so they don't grow very fast. Both are in a 24 g AquaPod with 150W MH 10,000K. I have a Onyx pair and an Orchid Dottyback in the tank, and various corals.

My red H. Malu eats shrimp, clam, scallops in small pencil eraser size chunks. I've fed it mysis & it has also nabbed 3mm pellets & flake food on it's own........it eats anything

It's gone from about 3 1/2" to about 8" in 15 months. Right now I'm only feeding it about once a week.
