Feeding Hippopus Clam in Nano

I was recently given a ~2" Hippopus clam and was wondering about feeding. I currently supplement my 10-gallon tank with a product called Phytoplex, about 15 drops every three days (This supplementing took place before the clam-addition). My baby opened up fully the first day and started to make itself comfortable in the sandbed. My question is: Should I up my dosing? I assume that I would, but I'm unsure of how much would be an appropriate amount. Are there any suggestions from the clam experts, possibly another food supplement? Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'll post a pic of the little guy on this thread, when I get it...probably tonight.

Id' really try using DT's phytoplankton, it's live and won't spike ammonia in great amounts.. I'd add about a quarter of a capful every 2nd day imo.

thanks reefpunk. i started a micro algae culture this weekend and decided to just do it straight up instead of using the shelved stuff. i'll continue to dose phytoplex until my culture is ready which should be in about two weeks.

KoralVitF

I have a 26 gallon with 5 clams, I alternate between DTs and KoralVitF every other day. The KoralVitF is unreal! My clams really react to it.

I get it from Clamsdirect.com

Thanks Smy. I'll be stopping by the LFS tonight after work (wife has a late meeting). I will check to see if they have any KoralVitF. It seems that a lot of clammers dose with that product, along with DTs. Thanks again
