Feeding my Purple Tang

I have a healthy purple tang in my 90 gallon. I went to my LFS and picked up some Ocean Nutrition Algea Sheets. I put it in my tank on the clip and my tang ate the whole thing in a couple of hours. How often should I put this in my tank? I don't want to overfeed him so I was wondering.

i buy this stuff cheap from the asian stores. I give my tangs nori everyday. you can also get it at publix in the sushi section.

Tangs won't over eat, so it's just a matter of balancing your portions so there isn't any 'left over' and decaying in your tank.

My crabs and serpant star eat everything that hits te bottom. So if they won't over eat I guess I could put one in every other day?

definatly try it,its really good.its a little smaller then aquarium creations but they have good prices.I got a 3inch hippo tang for $30,but I was there tonight and they were back up to fifty. But you should try them

Enjoy the tang. Mine is about three years old. It's the nicest fish in my tank. I feed him about 1/4 sheet of Ocean Nutrition seaweed (any color) every other day or so. I also feed the tank a half of a chunk of M.Y.S.I.S. shrimp evrery day and he loves that. It's high and protein and keeps him fat. The seaweed is great for his color. That's been my routine since I added him to the tank.

also fold the seaweed/nori to make them work a bit for the meal i take a 1/4 sheet and fold it in half and that might help with getting it to last a bit longer on the clip as well

My problem is that they break off little pieces which fall to the bottom of the tank. Yes I do have a clean-up crew, but it still bothers me.
