Feeding Nori - How Much?

I've found that algae magnets hold onto nori better than feeding clips do.

you are right they do--but the issue is not with them holding onto the nori but rather the fish being intelligent enough to rip off a big piece of it so it ends up plugging something

this was the main reason I switched to the Sera tablets--no more mess

capn_hylinur - where can i find the Sera tablets?

beautiful healthy fish btw :)

most LFS carry them

if not www.mops.ca and go to his US outlet--its mail order and you will have them in two days max

BTW

thanks for the fish compliment

make sure you ask for the spirulina alage one--they make alot of different stick em on stuff

I secretly work for them ---the picture does it every time--LOL
kidding

Not just tangs go after them---shrimp, brittle stars, fox faces too--and to keep a rabbit fish busy is a good idea

look at those vibrant colors!!! :D

one more question, I promise. How many tablets do you throw in there daily?

I feed twice a day so in between maybe twice at two tablets each time
I space out the two tablets because the two pairs of shrimps come out and like to try to eat the second one and it keeps them separate from collateral damange by those ravenous tangs.

they are not very expensive either

you've answered all my questions. i'll go to my LFS first today.

thank you capn_hylinur!!! I appreciate it :D

How long does it take young tangs to learn to eat the nori off the
clips?
I have a 4" yellow tang and just added a 2" atlantic blue and they don't get the idea that they can eat it.

kiki

maybe within 10 min. when they noticed there was no danger they immediately started nipping at it.

give it some time :)
