I think that I am going to get a sandsifting goby for my 50g. I know that these guys eat the stuff in the sand, but can't you feed them like you would and other fish?? If so, is this difficult to do? LMK, THANKS
I now go to OC Aquatics. Really nice people... I hate brian at Pacific Reef-- worst salesman ive ever seen. Says he can get me lights for 70.00 until i go in and wants to sell me 300.00 lights. Guy makes me mad.
I havnt had much luck with tongs...long story. I pmed you
Bummer...I have a wood canopy over my tank. I just do not have a tight, or snug, fitting lid on my tank. Do you think that a typical wood canopy would be enough for this guy to stay in???
I have a wood canopy as well, but I covered the back with this plastic stuff.
Basically I cut sheets of the stuff you knit pictures on and attached them to the back to keep fish in. I also used it to cover the side without a fan. I also have two fairy wrasses though so I need it protected...
In the DIY forum there is a thread on making a screen out of this aluminum netting material. Works great, blocks very little light and magically has not rusted. I think it's been in use for quite a while now.
