feeding the condi

I bought my wife a florida condi yesterday, we had one in the past and fed it with shrimp from the seafood market. Anyone have any suggestions otherwise. Lost the other nems due to lighting issues and I refused to get another until lighting was fixed.

Along with shrimp from the market, you can try scallops and squid. Also try silversides from your lfs.

I feed mine 1/2 of a silver side every few days, and every other day when I feed the fish mysis he grabs onto some of that. The condi has been doing great, but I plan to up the feeding of siverside to once ever 2 or 3 days. I am keeping it under a 175 watt halide if you wondering.

I fed mine some freeze dried krill.
