SO I see all sorts of threads on here about feeding zoas meaty things. Well i have tried several times to feed mine but they NEVER even close up on anything i give them mysis, rods ,ect. Anyone got anything for me on feeding these guys??

Not all zoanthids accept food so it depends on the genus you are trying to feed. The best feeding responce I get is from protopalythoa (NG's PD's ect). I feed cyclops and oyster feast, but very rarely, they usually catch the stray mysis from the fish.
 
I used to target feed mine, but I also never really noticed much except closing up from the blast of water so I stopped and haven't noticed any difference.
 
I don't add any extra foods for my corals. I just feed my fish with Rod's Food. Some of my palys are usually able to snag a piece of food out of the water column on there own. IME Target feeding corals usually leads to uneaten food which leads to excess nutrients.
