Bicolor blennie...about 6 months ago

Favorite Peppermint shrimp...about 8 months ago

My only reason why I haven't found them by now...ugly pink carpeting that I don't like to look at anyway...we need a new floor!!! They were both in a dark corner behind one of the legs of the table that my tank sits on. The funny thing was, I was looking for a recent member of the club, my firefish. I didn't find him though...think maybe he flipped around enough for our youngish kitten to spot him and gobble him up! Egads!

I had a lawnmower blenny do the same thing. I looked for weeks and finally moved rocks and just figured it died and the crabs ate him.

Come to find out that my blenny jumped out of the tank onto the carpet and flipped under my bed and I didn't find him till it was mummified, months later. ewww

off note...

I have a 4" mantis shrimp in my sump and my mom has a love/hate relationship for it. She thinks it is really smart and colorful but she looks at it like the cockroach of the ocean.

Needless to say I told her that it is like a salamander and will crawl out of the water for hours at a time.... Even up stairs and will lay eggs in peoples ears...

LOL she totally hates it now, even after I told her I was joking, I think she had some nightmares.

;)

Lol. I've still got a chromis behind my tank that i've never had the heart to move. Been there about... 6 months or so now... ::shrug:: o well. He kind of looks like that. I've just never had the heart to remove him.

Sorry that you lost them though :(

Millions of years from now a paleontologist will find them next to your fossilized skeleton... still gazing into the fossilized remains of your reef tank. :)

LOL! Me too! Have a lawnmover behind my 29. It's was stuck to the tile so I left him. Scraping frags of LMB from the tile doesn't seem all that appealing...
