Female Clown

So my one and only clownfish (female, her mate passed away four days ago) no disease just backed up into the powerhead. Well my femal has not been eating since and now has developed some sort of twitch. She's always on the far right corner facing the glass and suddenly she just does head shake from side to side and then swim to the other side of the tank?

Any ideas what it can be?

Did you ever treat for flukes?

I haven't treated yet since I'm at work and don't have any meds. Tomorrow morning I'm going to purchase cupramine a treat her in QT

I wouldn't worry about treating with cupramine just yet but it isn't a bad thing to have on hand anyways. I would grab some prazi pro first and treat. How long have you had the fish?

I got the clownfish (there were two at the time) may 29 from a guy on Craigslist who had them in a 10 gal. He said he had them for two years. Later on the male died somehow with the powerhead. Then after his death the female stopped eating ( today is the second day she hasn't ate) I notice she has been doing that head shake. Want to treat early before it gets bad.

So you recommend prazi? What all does it treat?

Prazi treats skin flukes and gill flukes. If you're comfortable doing a fw dip, you could do that You would know in an instant if you had flukes. They start falling off pretty quick.
