Love it, such a clean set-up. How about some behind the scenes shots?

WOW!!!! That was the fastest response EVER!!!!:eek1: :eek1: :eek1: :eek1:

Sunny, not sure what to say that hasn't been said before but your tank is absolutely beautiful. It is definitely one of my favorites that I have ever seen posted. Your tank keeps getting better and better with age. It will be TOTM in no time for sure. :)

I'd love to see some of the backroom. Also, it looks like you don't have access to the front. How hard is it to clean the front glass and especially the sand line?
Great looking tank!

Is it me? Or is that tank awfully high? I seem to recall a fish store who kept a reef tank high in their store and eventually took it down because colors didn't look as nice looking from the bottom up.

I use a Magnet to clean the front. I also use an Easy Blade Grey Scrapper Attachment to get at the hard stuff like coralline.

Hopefully this weekend I will add front access to the tank. I always say I will but I never get around to it. It is very hard aquascaping and adding corals from the back, especially since the tank in 3ft wide. If something falls in the front left corner of the tank it is pretty much unreachable.

Next tank I build in the future will be a Peninsula tank, much easier to maintain and nicer to view. It sucks to only have one viewpoint of a tank.

As for the backroom shot, I think you guys will be quite shocked at how simple my plumbing and setup is. No Closed loop and only one PVC pipe running up the side.

Froggy: It hasn't been TOTM yet? Wow!

Awesome tank Sunny.

Thanks :D

Seems TOTM is moving away from the SPS dominated tanks.

That's ok, my new LPS tank will be looking great in no time.

Its about 4ft off the ground, not really that high. I'm 6'3 so the tank is at eye level when looking into the tank. My old 120gl was on a standard stand an I hated having to sit down to be able to veiw the tank.

sweet set-up. How often do you have to re-charge the sandbed?

The sand has been in there fore almost 3 months now so I plan on replacing it every 6 Months or so.

I agree. I hate having to sit down to look at my tank. I think my next one will be 42" tall.

Got pics of the LPS tank (even if it is a work in progress)?

Its a small 30gl Oceanic Cube that I started a week ago. I have added more corals since taking the pic, I will have to add an updated pic. I added a very large Ricordea rock with 15+ Blue with green center's. I also added some red and Alien Eye green zoo's along with a hammer coral.
