LOL now now we both know that's not going to happen!
Did some work on the skimmer today. I used plumbers cement to seal up the leak then let that set-up and went over it with silicone. It should be good to go now. I also painted the plumbing black with krylon fusion. AJ is hooking me up with a mag 12 so as soon as I get that I should be good to go.

This one is of where the leak was. I went over the seam 3 times with plumbers cement then let that set-up then siliconed it. Then painted it with krylon.

Here you can see how I painted all the ugly white pvc with krylon. It looks alot better now.

Well I though I had the skimmer ready to go but was looking at it yesterday and discovered the gate valve was broke so I had to saw the old one off and replace it with a ball valve. If the ball valve is a PITA I'll order a new gate valve ( couldn't find one local).

gate valve is broke? it worked for me? i never used one until then i thought they were just loose a little. i could screw it all the way closed and open. its reverse to what i would normaly think is closed or open though. i think you can screw the handle completely off. if you go to close the valve is screws the handle back on...atleast thats what i thought it did...maybe i'm wrong, if it is actualy broke don't worry about hitting me with another coral we'll just call it good.

has your anemone changed color yet? mines starting to a little here and there but no where near bright red like i think they should be.

Yea there are two little ears that hold the gate assembly in place and they were broke off in there. No big deal easy to replace. The only bummer is that if I could have found the gate part insted of haveing to replace the whole assembly it would have been much cheaper. I went to the MRC web site and I'm concidering replaceing the injector assembly to. Yea my nem looks a little pink at the tips. I am skeptical wether or not they are RBTA or not I guess well see.

yeah me too, cause i was just hoping that with the crappy lighting they were under that they would change. he said he gave one to a buddy of his that was visiting from texas and his colored up in a couple days...so i dunno
