For those still in question of specifics of where we meet, I went ahead and grabbed the arial shot.

I also posted this in the fieldtrip thread.

"shopping center parking lot immediately west of Ventura and north of Hueneme Rd."

Yep that's the place. Wendy's in the upper right hand corner of the lot. Subway in the lower right hand corner facing the parking lot. ATM is the little black box down in the lower part in the green grass. ;)

see you all ther tomorrow around 1030 am. Mary will meet us there and conduct the full cars caravan to the security gate, and then to her facility.
 
Nicole what time do you plan on leaving?

The reason why I ask is because you are close to me and I want to gauge driving time. Mapquest says one hour and 45 minutes....so that's like 8:30am.....urgh.....I am sooo not a morning person. =)
 
I'm leaving with Chris' carpool from Garden Grove at 8am -- which I think is too early, but better safe than sorry.
 
nicole - do you still need some sand? i have some pink fiji and some wet southdown. didn't realize the southdown had a whole in the bag so it absorbed water during the rains so it would have to be washed and dried before using. let me know and i'll toss either or both in the car for tomorrow.

Yes! I love Southdown. Are you sure you don't need it for your seagrass bed?
 
i have enough for now. i'll throw it in the car, there's probably 25-30 lbs. of southdown, half a bag of pink fiji that was just opened a couple of days ago and has been inside.
