Fighting Clowns

I have two common clowns and that I bought at the same time. I have had them for about a month and a half one is about 1 1/2 in and the other about 1 in. The larger one has been picking on the smaller one all of a sudden. I know that the dominant fish will become female do you think that is why?

EXACTLY! The larger is normally the female. She's letting him know who will rule the house. Over the next couple months, you'll see her put on size and quickly begin to dwarf the male. Don't be surprised if the male only gets a piece or two at feeding time. All normal.

How bad is the aggression? Does the male have torn fins? Females have been know to kill potential mates. If it gets bad, you will need to separate them.
