shots from this past winter. I have grown to enjoy photographing wildlife, especially birds. They can be a challenge, but I enjoy the "hunt".

I'll have to try and dig up some reef pics to post next.
 
All are great but #4 is fantastic. A 600mm lens? I'm not familiar with Nikon gear but what lens is that?

All of these were taken with my D3, 300 2.8, and the Nikon TC20EII. Depending on light, I will use the D2x if I can shoot under ISO 640.

Nikon makes a 600/4, but these are with my "poor man's" 600 (300 2.8 with a Nikon TC20EII teleconverter).
 
Terrific stuff. I like #4, too, but that loon shot has a special richness to it that I really enjoy.
