Fiji refusing to export corals

I have noticed there is a shortage of pukani dry rock and when I asked BRS when they would have more in stock, they advised they did not know. Apparently the Fiji govt. is not exporting corals, and rock. Does anyone know anything about this? Any idea how long this is going to last? I'm building a new 150 gallon tank and really want to use pukani rock.

Wondering if I should wait or make other plans with reef saver etc.

It looks like the days of live rock...and dry rock from Fiji are over.....there have been no new CITES permits issued...thus no exports. Pukani dry rock is a thing of the past...just like the Marshall islands...Tonga...ect..happened years ago.......the only game in town now being exported from Fiji is Walt's 2.1 man made rock....

Case of 'condition your own limestone'. You may have phosphate issues with it. I certainly did.

I thought I just saw a post from Walt saying they are back up again, but taking a little bit to get things back in order

Interesting update, I spoke to bulk reef supply today and they advised the issue has been sorted out, and they are expecting a shipment of pukani in a few weeks or a month. Did anyone hear any news on this?
