i have a 10g nano with a 20g sump/prop tank. i want to have plenty of room for frags, so i was hoping i could get away with a "baffleless" sump. the water coming from the bulkhead on the 10g flows into the sump at about 200gph, so not a very high flow rate. do you think by simply adding a filter sock (100 micron) to the end of the input to the sump i could eliminate all bubbles (including microbubbles)? btw there wont be a skimmer so no concern of bubbles from that.

Yes, that will work.

Just remember to replace it at least weekly. I keep 4 on hand. Just wash and rotate them.
