Hi, I was wondering if I need to use a carbon filter in my RODI system if I'm on a well and if a sediment filter is crucial.. Basically will I be fine with with the membrane and DI canister?
If you're on a well then a sediment filter is ultra critical. You may even need two depending on the water. The carbon block you also want but isn't as critical if there's no chlorine. If there is any chlorine involved then the carbon keeps it from rapidly destroying the membrane.
