Finally a new store in hialeah

I have been there, they are starting up. Looks like going on the right direction. Limited but nice selection of fish and coral. Prices are OK. Definitely a step up from Amazon.

Amazon is still open? Are they ones that were on 49th just west of 12th ave next to the flower shop? Where are they now? That's where I bought my first setup at age 17. That was pretty much the only place in Hialeah while growing up.

not bad, didn't spend one penny :rolleye1:

what do you mean you didnt spend a penny? freebies? did you notice if he had any macro algae?

No freebie, trade
No algae that I saw, corals are under Lumenbrights mongul (14K or 20 K) good flow, and great rockwork. He has a decent selection (a couple of acan colonies that are really good) I think I convinced him to frag them ;) Rick colonies, acan frags, bubble, elegance, montis, hairy mushrooms, gorgonias, sponges, brains, zoas, etc, etc.
a bit of drygoods and decent selection of fish. I will say is DEF an improvement over the other store on 49&16th
On thing: it's ALL saltwater (nothing else, at least for now) I didn't see any freshwater, cats, dogs, reptiles or bird stuff.
Prices are ok

I was looking for some regular green macro algae ladybug but thanks anyways.. i was going to toss some into my sump but i decided to tie in a fuge on the side of my tank so i gotta build that first lol

i just went today and he has a good selection of dry goods and hes only literally 3-5 minutes away from my house, his corals are nice too!, when you first walk in that big tank on the left hand side that had the ray and shark now houses a HUGE Panther grouper.. very nice!

i bought a maxi-jet 900 for my 10 gallon AIO and a sponge for my overflow, i also noticed he has phosphate media so when i run low i know where i can go to get and i also saw he has the replacement filters for the RO/DI unit if i need to change mine lol now i dont have to order online and wait..

Finally went to the store got some fish and corals .The owner is very nice he even to on consignment the ell and lion fish i was trying to sale.I take some pics on my tank with the new inhabitants.
