The first set of clowns I got when my nano was first established were b/w false percs. One became dominant right off the bat and started to grow larger than the other... but then after a while she began to pick at her tank mate until she eventuall killed him. She was hosting in my RBTA and wouldn't let the other clown anywhere near. After the tragic death of my clown fish, I quickly purchased a replacement which was smaller than the dominant in my tank. Yet it happened again.... she overpowered the new clownfish to death. I got fed up with it and traded her in towards a pair of True perculas and cannot be happier. They both immediately took to my RBTA and are friendly with each other. It has been over a month or two now and all is well... needless to say I am very happy! I guess some fish just aren't meant to be housed with others.
