Finally got my mantis!

Finally got my manits today! Anyonehave an ID on him? Cureently in a ten gallon with 3 damsels, about 4 inches long.

This is a fairly unusual color morph of Gonodactylus smithii. The red intersegmental lines are more typically seen on Gonodactylaceus ternatensis, but the purple meral spots and dactyls clearly identify it as G. smithii.

That shrimp is pretty sweet. It reminds off the tropical peacock mantis shrimp..

mine is inly 2.5 inches, he might not live much longer if he is 4 inches. i think densityman's smithii has the same color morph

Wholesaler. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have that much life in him but I though he was awesome and he is keeping some damsels company (mwahaha). I have another little guy I picked out of some LR that is maybe 1.25" also that I have yet to identify.
