All of these are taken under 250 watt 14k hamiltons. No other actinics. The pictures are pretty darn close to what everything actually looks like to the naked eye.

Out my 250's on my tank and found a coral under some rock that I thought I had lost over a year ago... :p

That pictures pretty close to what it looks like but it still looks better in person. I thought about trying to cut it in half but I only have one and I hate to kill it. Maybe once it splits on its own and I have an extra one just in case. I'm sure we can work out a trade of some kind! :D

You get that 40 up and running yet?

Nice pics Matt,

I really like those yellow zoas and that orange shroom. Yea, dont keep folks in the dark if you need to part with some of either kind :)

If you are looking for more kinds of zoas, I picked up a few from Ryan in Ames: Radioactive, dragon eyes, GB packers, and some fire and ice. It will be some time before they are ready, but PM me if you would be interested in trading down the road.

The yellow ones with orange centers are actually dragon eye zoas. The other yellow ones in the first pic I believe are radioactive dragon eyes, but they need to color up a little bit. It's amazing how dif. lights make things look.

Here's a pic of the same rock of dragon eyes under my old lighting

I'm always up for traiding zoas! Just let me know when you're ready.

I'm working on a full tank shot. It's not quite as easy as the macros. I did find that I get a lot better pics the closer things are to the front of the tank. That's why the frogspawn looks so nice. And of course a FTS would require me to clean all the glass! :D

Get a chair and a bucket for a tripod and use the timer on your camera (or use a remote if it came with one) turn the flash off, and try using different settings... it's not THAT hard.
