Finally H. Reidi fry!

I got H. Reidi two days ago. For my surprice I found all the babies in the sump( I have 3 aquariums piped together and bioballs in each overflow).

Well I managed to pick up about 50 of them and leaved others in the sump/ref as they seemed to be okay there.

Now I am facing a little problem with feeding as I didint have any live food to offer so they got fish fry dry food and yesterday I got some freshly hatched artemia( I know its not the best) but I cant get other live food species untill next week..

Well at least you can be prepared for the next batch.
Get a starter culture of rotifers for the first feeds.

You could always ship the fry to a professional breeder to raise; CB reidi are highly sought after and it would help the hobby.

I would love to ship some for a professional breeder. It must be in Europe though..

My fry is black coloured but parents are yellow/orange. Will they fry change color if they manage to survive?

I am offering them BBS and enriched BS(Dan's Feed). Will add up froze cyclops if they survive 2-3 weeks
