Finally! I got my RSM250

Dave, I haven't taken a new pic yet. This is the one I posted on previous page, sorry.
But my tank is cycling right now, I have to clean the glass twice aday and the rocks are covered in green then brown algae. I will document my progress though, good or bad
Thanks for asking

after I transfer all my " stuff" to the RSM I will let you know, to make your roadtrip worthwhile. Cycling sucks! My skimmer is going crazy. Have an outbreak of pods crawling on the glass and rocks.

It is moving day!
I transferred more pieces to my RSM, my pink acro, Bali green slimer, brown acro which I fragged, Kryptonite candycoral, sea squirt, torch coral, acan heads
Yes Dzones and grandprix, it is becoming a "jampacked" RSM soon!
I still have a lot of real estate in the lower third of the tank though
I haven't transferred my clam and bubbletip anemone , I will wait another week.

Looking good Nanodoc. You have gone from no room to so much room, your mind is probably running in circles, as to what to put in there next. And that is a good feeling.

Thanks Tenuhc, I am going to town with my Krazy glue and frags like a dog on a street full of lampposts.
I am having an outbreak of green hair algae, though. I guess that's that thing you call cycling again..

Aha! I found a solution to my green hair.
2 days ago I started having green hair algae everywhere. Today my tank was so full I could barely see some of my frags, it seems to have exploded overnight. Trying to pluck it is an exercise in futility, it starts on a small base and expands and is firmly anchored.
I looked around and found a small BOTTLE BRUSH. I first tried to scrub it off the rocks, which was hard to do. Then I found that if you twirl it fast in a clockwise fashion, it traps and yanks the algae right off the rocks, it is so good I also twirled the gravel with it from the bottom.
To take it off the brush, I rotate it counterclockwise under fast flowing water and tease it off with a toothpick.
Laziness is the mother of invention! I can see it already on Foster and Smith, a bottle brush sold as " hair algae removing tool".!
